Jonathan Hiller

Jonathan is an award-winning film director, cinematographer, and digital strategist who specializes in translating complex issues into emotional narratives that have significant public impact.  Four years after directing his first local broadcast commercial, he was recruited to serve as a digital filmmaker for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign -- creating the aesthetic and technical direction for a team that amassed over 1 billion views online.  He traveled extensively with Secretary Clinton, and was the cinematographer of dozens national broadcast and digital ads.  His unique lighting diagrams were referenced for Secretary Clinton's interviews and advertisements throughout the campaign.

Jonathan was the Co-Director, DP, and Editor of the award-winning short film Edges, which premiered at Telluride Mountainfilm in 2016.  He also lent additional camera support to the Sundance Audience Award-winning documentary Chasing Coral (2017).
